Apples
“An apple a day keeps the doctor away” - it may be an old saying, but with lots of health benefits, it’s not far from the truth! A great source of nutrients and vitamins, apples are an extremely healthy fruit, assisting with heart health, gut health and weight loss - being that they are high in fibre and water content.

Organic Spinach
Not just for Popeye, spinach is a super healthy vegetable, loaded with tonnes of nutritional benefits. A high source of iron, calcium and vitamins, it’s essential for bone and heart health, boosts your immune system and improves eyesight. Being that it’s high in magnesium, spinach gives us the energy we need to get through our days!

Organic Quinoa Sprouts
High in fibre and nutrients, quinoa is gluten-free and contains all of the essential amino acids, making it a complete protein. It helps to control blood sugar, assists with digestion and provides a subtle flavour.

Organic Acerola
Often compared to cherries, acerola are a plant grown, berry type fruit, known for being a rich source of vitamin C. Considered an antioxidant, acerola also contains good amounts of minerals, such as calcium and iron.

Thaumatin
Because we steer clear from artificial flavours and sweeteners, we use the all-natural ingredient thaumatin, to add that sweet touch to our products. Sourced from the katemfe fruit which is found in the rainforests of Africa, thaumatin is considered a protein, unlike a lot of other natural sweeteners. Because its potency is much stronger than sugar, only a small amount needs to be added to products.

Prebiotics

Chicory Inulin
Inulin is a prebiotic fibre found in chicory, that helps to feed and grow good gut bacteria. Promoting healthy digestion, reducing inflammation and aiding in the control of blood sugar, chicory inulin can help support weight loss as it is believed to help reduce appetite.

FOS (Fructo-oligosaccharides)
FOS are found in many plants such as garlic, onion, leeks, blue agave, bananas and asparagus and are a type of carbohydrate made of short fructose chains. Considered a natural sweetener, FOS are a great alternative to sugar and other artificial sweeteners, as they are low in calories and can help with weight loss as well as people with diabetes.

GOS (Galacto-oligosaccharides)
Another prebiotic found naturally in fruits and vegetables, GOS can also be found in dairy products, sourced from the lactose in cow’s milk. It’s beneficial to gut health, feeding the good bacteria, and can give the benefits of a prebiotic but at a lower dose than others.

Probiotic

Bacillus Coagulans
Often found in fermented foods such as yoghurt, bacillus coagulans is a good bacteria that is particularly strong and effective at relieving stomach upsets. This includes abdominal cramps and IBS symptoms, as well as supporting good gut function.
