TRIPLE CHOC PROTEIN PORRIDGE (GF/DF)
INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup brown rice flakes (or sub rolled oats if not gluten free)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 banana, chopped
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla (optional)
- 1 serve (30g) Triple Choc Fudge Vegan Protein Powder
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
Toppings of choice - I like fresh fruit, coyo, peanut butter & cacao nibs
METHOD
- Add the rice flakes, chia, banana, almond milk & vanilla to a small saucepan and heat over low-medium heat.
- Stir regularly and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling turn down to a simmer until the porridge reaches the consistency you desire (rice flakes should be softened and porridge thickened).
- Take off the heat and stir in protein, cacao and add a dash more almond milk to help combine.
- Serve with your toppings & enjoy! xx
