Ingredient Breakdown

Organic Barley Grass
Barley grass is the leaf of the barley plant. It’s high in fibre and super-rich in vitamins A and C, which act as an antioxidant powerhouse!

Organic Wheatgrass
Wheatgrass is considered a superfood, packed with loads of vitamins and nutrients to boost your health and well-being. With antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits, it can eliminate toxins from the body, boost your immune system and give you energy!

Apples
“An apple a day keeps the doctor away” - it may be an old saying, but with lots of health benefits, it’s not far from the truth! A great source of nutrients and vitamins, apples are an extremely healthy fruit, assisting with heart health, gut health and weight loss - being that they are high in fibre and water content.

Organic Maca
Maca is known to increase libido and boost energy and endurance. It’s also believed to help to improve your mood. Sourced from a Peruvian plant, Maca provides an earthy flavour - we love to include it in some of our products.

Organic Spirulina
Filled with vitamins and minerals, spirulina is a type of plant that grows in both salt and freshwater. High in antioxidants, it also contains powerful anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in protein, calcium, magnesium and potassium. It can assist with weight loss, improve gut health and even promote good mental health, as it contains the amino acid tryptophan - enabling the production of serotonin.

Himalayan Pink Salt
A natural alternative, Himalayan rock salt is our choice of ingredient to add that extra punch of flavour to our products, as it contains no additives or hidden nasties.

Organic Kale
A rich source of vitamins A, C and K, kale provides an abundance of health benefits such as improving eye and bone health, boosting the immune system, and preventing chronic disease and cold symptoms. It can also help lower cholesterol and assist with weight loss, as it will fill you up with its high water content, but has little calories. It’s also high in protein and fibre.

Organic Kelp
Kelp is a type of seaweed that is packed with beneficial nutrients and can help with disease prevention as it is considered to have strong cancer-fighting capabilities, in particular against breast and colon cancer. A great source of iodine, as well as other vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, kelp has powerful hormone balancing properties, can aid people with diabetes and assist with weight management.

Organic Spinach
Not just for Popeye, spinach is a super healthy vegetable, loaded with tonnes of nutritional benefits. A high source of iron, calcium and vitamins, it’s essential for bone and heart health, boosts your immune system and improves eyesight. Being that it’s high in magnesium, spinach gives us the energy we need to get through our days!

Organic Quinoa Sprouts
High in fibre and nutrients, quinoa is gluten-free and contains all of the essential amino acids, making it a complete protein. It helps to control blood sugar, assists with digestion and provides a subtle flavour.

Organic Acerola
Often compared to cherries, acerola are a plant grown, berry type fruit, known for being a rich source of vitamin C. Considered an antioxidant, acerola also contains good amounts of minerals, such as calcium and iron.

Thaumatin
Because we steer clear from artificial flavours and sweeteners, we use the all-natural ingredient thaumatin, to add that sweet touch to our products. Sourced from the katemfe fruit which is found in the rainforests of Africa, thaumatin is considered a protein, unlike a lot of other natural sweeteners. Because its potency is much stronger than sugar, only a small amount needs to be added to products.

Prebiotics

Chicory Inulin
Inulin is a prebiotic fibre found in chicory, that helps to feed and grow good gut bacteria. Promoting healthy digestion, reducing inflammation and aiding in the control of blood sugar, chicory inulin can help support weight loss as it is believed to help reduce appetite.

FOS (Fructo-oligosaccharides)
FOS are found in many plants such as garlic, onion, leeks, blue agave, bananas and asparagus and are a type of carbohydrate made of short fructose chains. Considered a natural sweetener, FOS are a great alternative to sugar and other artificial sweeteners, as they are low in calories and can help with weight loss as well as people with diabetes.

GOS (Galacto-oligosaccharides)
Another prebiotic found naturally in fruits and vegetables, GOS can also be found in dairy products, sourced from the lactose in cow’s milk. It’s beneficial to gut health, feeding the good bacteria, and can give the benefits of a prebiotic but at a lower dose than others.

Probiotic

Bacillus Coagulans
Often found in fermented foods such as yoghurt, bacillus coagulans is a good bacteria that is particularly strong and effective at relieving stomach upsets. This includes abdominal cramps and IBS symptoms, as well as supporting good gut function.
