Choc-Orange Protein Truffles

INGREDIENTS

 

METHOD

  1. In a food processor, blitz the oats, almonds, dates, cocoa powder, hemp seeds, orange zest, magnesium powder, vanilla and salt until combined.
  2. Add the orange juice while blending until the mixture comes together into a sticky dough. Feel free to add more orange juice if the mixture is too dry. 
  3. Scoop out 1 tablespoon portions and roll into balls.
  4. Melt dark chocolate with the coconut oil, then dip each ball in chocolate. Sprinkle with extra orange zest.
  5. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 2 months
