INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 13 pitted Medjool dates
- ½ cup almonds
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp Happy Way Top of The Choc Protein Powder
- Zest of 1 orange
- 30g Happy Way Orange Magnesium Powder
- Juice of ½ orange
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil
METHOD
- In a food processor, blitz the oats, almonds, dates, cocoa powder, hemp seeds, orange zest, magnesium powder, vanilla and salt until combined.
- Add the orange juice while blending until the mixture comes together into a sticky dough. Feel free to add more orange juice if the mixture is too dry.
- Scoop out 1 tablespoon portions and roll into balls.
- Melt dark chocolate with the coconut oil, then dip each ball in chocolate. Sprinkle with extra orange zest.
- Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 2 months
