EASY HOT PROTEIN OATS
INGREDIENTS
- 50g quick oats
- 1 cup water
- 30g protein powder of choice
- 1 tbspn nut butter of choice
- 1 tbspn seeds or nuts of choice
- 1/2 cup frozen berries
- Additional fruit of choice
- Optional: honey
METHOD
- In a small saucepan on medium to low heat, mix together oats and water.
- Cook until you reach the desired consistency you like. For creamier thicker oats cook for longer. For more liquid and more chewy oats cook less.
- Remove oats from heat and tip in to a serving bowl.
- Mix in your protein powder of choice, we used vanilla whey.
- Top with your choice of toppings. We used frozen raspberries, almond butter, mixed seers, fig and a little bit of honey.
