STICKY DATE PROTEIN BAKED OATS

INGREDIENTS 

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 30g Happy Way Caramel Biscuit Whey Protein Powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup date mixture (blended together with hot water)
  • Handful of chopped dates
  • 1.5 cups milk of choice (we used the Churro Milk from @minorfigures)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamon
  • 240 ml Oat Milk*
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence*
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup*
  • Pinch Sea Salt*
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil*

 

METHOD 

  1. In a large bowl mix together your dry ingredients.
  2. Add in all wet ingredients to the dry mixture and mix until well combined.
  3. Pour mixture into a prepared square baking tray.
  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes on 180 degrees celsius.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Optional: Top with toffee sauce and serve with ice-cream
  6. Portion into 4-5 serves. Store in your fridge in airtight containers.
