PROTEIN APPLE CIDER VINEGAR DONUTS
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE DONUTS:
- 1 cup applesauce
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 1/4 cups almond flour
- 4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 scoop (30 g) Happy Way Like A Vegan Vanilla Protein Powder
FOR THE COATING:
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and lightly grease a silicone donut pan.
- Mix together all of the donut ingredients in a bowl.
- Distribute the batter evenly into 10 donut moulds. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once cooled, remove the donuts from the pan and dip in the cinnamon sugar. If the sugar is not sticking, spray the donuts lightly with coconut oil first and then dip in the cinnamon sugar. Enjoy!
