CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA BARS
INGREDIENTS
- 300g mashed ripe banana
- 115ml milk of choice
- 115ml sugar free maple syrup
- 125g Mayvers Dark Roast 100% peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
- 1 tsp sea salt flakes
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp cinnamon or mixed spice
- 180g oat flour
- 50g Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 160g dark chocolate chips
METHOD
- Mash ripe bananas and whisk together bananas, milk, maple syrup, peanut butter, vanilla bean paste, apple cider vinegar and salt.
- Mix oat flour, vanilla protein powder, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and chocolate chips until just combined. Do not over mix.
- Pour into lined baking dish and top with chocolate chips.
- Bake at 165C for 30 minutes or until golden brown in color.
- Cool completely before cutting. Store in an air tight container for 5 days in refrigerator or freeze for 90 days.
