INGREDIENTS
- ¼ cup plain flour
- 30g Happy Way Dark Chocolate Protein Powder
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- ½ -1 tbsp maple syrup (depending on desired sweetness)
- ½ cup milk of choice
- Pinch of salt
- Milk or dark chocolate chips
- Peanut butter, to drizzle
METHOD
- In a small bowl or mug, combine the flour, protein powder, cacao powder and salt. Add the milk and maple syrup, then whisk until smooth.
- If mixing in a bowl, transfer the batter to a microwave-safe mug. Sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top.
- Microwave for 1 to 1½ minutes, or until the cake is just set (it should still be a little gooey in the centre).
- Drizzle with peanut butter and top with extra chocolate chips.
