HOMEMADE SAUSAGE ROLLS

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 1 brown onion, chopped⁠
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1 celery stalk, shredded⁠
  • 500g pork mince ⁠
  • ⅔ cup panko breadcrumbs ⁠
  • 1 egg⁠
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Black pepper 
  • 1 scoop Happy Way Flavourless Protein Powder ⁠
  • 1 ½ sheets puff pastry, cut in half⁠

METHOD

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.⁠
  2. Add all the filling ingredients to a bowl and mix with your hands until well combined.⁠
  3. Cut a sheet of puff pastry in half, add the sausage mixture to one half, roll into a log and repeat.⁠
  4. Slice into quarters, brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.⁠
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy with tomato sauce!
