INGREDIENTS
- 160g Medjool dates, pitted
- 50g rolled oats
- 2 scoops Happy Way Men’s Chocolate Protein Powder
- 70g almonds
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tbsp instant coffee granules or espresso powder
- 70g peanut or almond butter
- Pinch of salt
METHOD
- If your dates are firm, soak them in hot water for 5–10 minutes, then drain well.
- In a food processor, add the dates along with all the remaining ingredients. Blend until the mixture comes together.
- Roll the mixture into 10 even-sized balls. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
Note:
Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months and thaw in the fridge before eating.
