OOEY GOOEY CARAMEL SLICE
INGREDINETS
FOR THE BASE:
- 3/4 cup almond meal
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1 tbsp Flavourless Protein @happywayau
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
FOR THE FILLING:
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/3 cup almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
- Pinch of salt
FOR THE TOPPING:
- 100g dark chocolate, melted
METHOD
- Mix all the ingredients together and press into a lined tin.
- Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden. Set aside to cool.
- Combine all ingredients and pour over the cooked base. Smooth out into an even layer.
- Pour melted chocolate over caramel and refrigerate before slicing and enjoy!
