ORANGE & POPPYSEED BAKED OATS

INGREDIENTS 

  • 2 cups rolled oats⁠
  • 60g Happy Way Salted Caramel Whey Protein Powder⁠
  • 1 tsp baking powder⁠
  • 1 Tbsp poppy seeds⁠
  • 125g apple puree⁠
  • 1.5 cups milk of choice⁠
  • 1 orange – cubed + zest+⁠
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon⁠
  • 3-4 Tbsp juice (adjust to taste)⁠
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup or honey⁠

METHOD

  1. In a large bowl, mix together your dry ingredients.⁠
  2. Add all wet ingredients to the dry mixture and mix until well combined.⁠
  3. Pour mixture into a prepared square baking tray.
  4. Bake for 35–40 minutes at 180°C.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Optional: Top with vanilla yoghurt
  6. Portion into 4–5 serves and store in your fridge in airtight containers.
