VANILLA PROTEIN FRENCH TOAST
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE TOAST:
- 3 eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- Dash cinnamon
- Bread of choice
- Butter, for cooking
- 1/2 scoop (15 g) Happy Way Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
FOR THE TOPPING:
- Yoghurt of choice (we used coconut yoghurt)
- 1/2 scoop (15 g) Happy Way Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Maple syrup
- Any additional toppings you choose!
METHOD
- Add the eggs, milk, cinnamon and ½ scoop of protein powder into a bowl and whisk together well.
- Soak the bread into the mixture, coating on both sides.
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and fry the bread until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, mix the remaining 1/2 scoop of protein powder with the yoghurt and stir until combined.
- Serve the toast and spoon over some of the yoghurt mixture, adding strawberries, blueberries and maple syrup.
