HIGH PROTEIN BREAKFAST PIZZA

Easy, high protein, breakfast pizza! 

To make the protein pizza base follow the steps here.

INGREDIENTS 

  • Protein pizza base
  • 1/4 cup tomato chutney (we use Beerenberg!)
  • 2 rashes of bacon, sliced
  • 40g mushrooms, sliced
  • 50g cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 egg 
  • Grated cheese of choice 

METHOD 

  1. Pre-heat oven to 200c. 
  2. On a pizza tray (the ones with holes to make the bottom crispy), place your uncooked pizza dough rolled out into a pizza shape. 
  3. Cook for 5 minutes. 
  4. Cover the base with chutney. 
  5. Layer the mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and bacon.
  6. Place the raw egg in the centre of the pizza. 
  7. Sprinkle with grated cheese. 
  8. Cook for 15 minutes or until golden. 
  9. Move to a chopping board to slice. 
  10. Enjoy!
