A SWEET RECIPE FOR CHRISTMAS DAY

Caramilk Balls 

Serves: 8
Prep time: 5 minutes
Set time: 2 hours

Ingredients
30 g Ashy Bines Choc Caramel Whey Protein Powder
50 g rolled oats
4 Medjool dates
1 ½ Tbsp caramel cashew spread, Pana
1 Tbsp salted caramel topping, Natvia
1 Tbsp sweetener, Natvia
30 g Cadbury Caramilk chocolate, melted
Pinch of salt

Method
1. Soak dates in 1-2 Tbsp of boiling water for 5 minutes.
2. Place all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor and process until the mixture is combined.
3. Roll mixture into 8 balls. Place on a tray and set in the fridge for 1 hour.
4. Once set, dip each ball into the chocolate to coat.
5. Return the balls to the refrigerator for a further 1 hour to set before serving.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

If one of your focuses for 2021 and the new year is weight loss, be sure to set realistic goals this holiday season and remember to be kind to yourself. Although we can all overdo it at Christmas, it is a time for enjoying good food with your loved ones—and why should we skip out on that?! But, instead of cutting out any of those delicious Christmas Day dishes, just be mindful of portion sizes and avoid piling up your plate with a mountain of food! We can still enjoy a good Christmas Day feast, without all the guilt that follows.
