Our easy Christmas dessert recipes are here to save the day! We all know Christmas is the busiest time of the year, and it’s hard to fit in time to prepare food and desserts on top of presents and Santa visits and trips from your grandma’s house, to your cousin and your cousin’s neighbour, and everyone in between. Luckily, out recipes are super simple to make, they’re perfect as holiday snacks or your post-Christmas lunch dessert.

PROTEIN RICH HEALTHY HOT CHOCOLATE

PROTEIN RICH HEALTHY HOT CHOCOLATE

  • 1 scoop TOP OF THE CHOC – whey chocolate protein powder
  • 120 ml milk (of your choice – almond or hazelnut are good dairy-free alternatives)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 cup hot water
  • a sprinkle of cinnamon (optional)
  • small marshmallows (optional)
  1. To make one serving, heat milk and add all ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend on a high setting until combined well, and the mixture is smooth, frothy and creamy. 
  3. Pour healthy hot chocolate mixture into a large mug, sprinkle on some cinnamon and/or marshmallows on top (optional).
  4. Enjoy immediately!

RAW OAT & CHOC SLICE


  • 1 Cup Almonds
  • 1 Cup Oats
  • 1 Scoop Happy Way Vanilla Vegan
  • 1/3 Cup Cacao
  • 2 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
  • Pinch of Pink Salt
  • 1/3 Cup Coconut Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Rice malt Syrup
  • ½ Cup Dried fruit (raisins, goji etc) – OPTIONAL
  1. In a food processor, quickly blitz the whole almonds until chopped.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients into the food processor and process until all combined and sticky.
  3. In a small lined baking tray, use fingers to press the mixture down to form an even layer.
  4. Place in the fridge to set overnight. Enjoy!

CHOCOLATE PROTEIN CHIA PUDDING

CHOCOLATE PROTEIN CHIA PUDDING

  1. Add almond milk to the blender, then add the chia seeds and blend for about 30 seconds.
  2. Then add top of the choc protein powder, cocoa powder and maple syrup
    Blend until smooth and creamy, adding a bit of extra milk if needed.
  3. Scoop the mixture into a bowl and place in the fridge for at least 60 minutes up to overnight.
  4. Top your chocolate protein chia pudding with strawberries, bananas berries, almonds or coconut shavings to serve.

CHRISTMAS BLISS BALLS

CHRISTMAS BLISS BALLS

  1. Add all ingredients into a food processor and blend until well combined.
  2. Roll into balls and coat with extra cacao powder.
  3. Enjoy!

PEANUT BUTTER, CHOCOLATE COATED POPS

  • 1 Over-ripe Banana
  • 2 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Rolled Oats
  • 1/3 Cup Milk of Choice

    Choc Coating:
  • 2 Tablespoons Cacao
  • 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil, melted
  • 1 Teaspoon Honey or Rice Malt Syrup

    Optional Toppings:
  • Crushed Peanuts
  • Crushed Nuts
  • Puffed Quinoa
  1. Add all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend well until smooth
  2. Add the mixture into ice-block moulds and place into the freezer to set overnight
  3. To make the chocolate coating, simply add the cacao, sweetener and coconut oil into a bowl and whisk.
  4. Dip the frozen popsicles into the chocolate, sprinkle with toppings and place back into the freezer (on a flat tray coating in baking paper) to set for 10-15 mins. Enjoy!
