HIGH PROTEIN FRENCH TOAST
INGREDIENTS
- 85g sourdough bread
- 1 whole egg
- 3 egg whites
- 75ml milk of choice
- 1tsp vanilla bean paste
- 1tsp cinnamon
- 30g Happy Way Vanilla Protein Powder
- 10g butter
Optional Toppings:
- Powder sugar
- Maple syrup
METHOD
- Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and protein powder until well combined.
- Dip Sourdough bread into egg mixture allowing bread to soak in as much egg mixture as possible.
- Slightly butter pan and cook each side of toast until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with powder sugar and top with sugar free maple syrup.
